What this tool collects

Tlsglimpse is a diagnostic tool. When you submit a hostname for inspection:

The hostname and port you enter are sent to our server to perform a TLS handshake with that server.
The certificate data returned by the remote server is presented to you in your browser.
We do not store the hostnames you inspect, the results, or any personal information.
No account is required. No cookies are used for tracking.

Data handling

The backend processes your request in memory, returns the certificate data, and discards it. No log of inspected hostnames, certificate data, or IP addresses is retained.

Third-party services

This site loads font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Google's privacy policy applies to those requests. No other third-party services are used.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the tool after changes means you accept the updated policy.
