Service description

Tlsglimpse is a diagnostic tool that opens a TLS connection to a hostname you specify and reports the certificate chain the server presents. It does not monitor, alert, send notifications, store results, or re-check. The tool answers when you ask it.

Use of the service

You may use this tool to inspect any publicly accessible TLS-enabled server. You agree not to use the tool to probe servers you do not have authorization to test. The tool checks only the hostname you type — it never scans ranges or enumerates subdomains.

No accounts

This service does not require an account. No personal data, hostnames, or results are stored. Each inspection is independent.

Billing

The Free tier of Tlsglimpse is provided at no cost. No payment is required to inspect a public TLS hostname and view certificate details.

If a paid Pro tier becomes available in the future, it will be offered as a monthly subscription. The price will be displayed clearly before any charge is made. Payment will be processed through a third-party payment processor (Stripe or equivalent). By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly payments at the then-current rate.

What happens on a failed payment: If a recurring payment fails, access to Pro features will be suspended until the payment succeeds. We will retry the charge up to three times over approximately seven days. If all retries fail, your subscription will be cancelled and you will revert to the Free tier. No further charges will be attempted after cancellation.

Refund policy: Refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Because Pro features have not yet launched, no refund policy has been established. When a paid tier launches, a specific refund window and process will be published here. If you believe you have been charged in error before that point, contact the operator using the contact details that will be provided when a legal entity is registered.

No payment processor is currently connected. The site cannot accept real payments or subscriptions today. Any checkout buttons are demonstrations of a planned flow and will not process charges.

No warranties

The tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Certificate data is reported exactly as the server presented it. The tool does not infer, interpolate, or fill gaps in the data. Platform limitations — such as the inability to reach hosts behind Cloudflare — are disclosed on the tool page and are not defects in the tool.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of this tool shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the tool, including reliance on certificate data it reports.

No compliance claims

This tool does not claim compliance with any standard, certification, or audit regime. It is a diagnostic aid, not a compliance verification tool.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the tool after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

No jurisdiction has been designated. The operator will supply this when a legal entity is registered.
